Featuring a highly sensitive 640×512, 12μm, <18mK NETD thermal sensor paired with a fast 13mm f1.0 objective lens, the new Pixfra Arc A613 PRO delivers a detection range of up to 700m — picking out the faintest heat signature at distance and rendering it as a sharp, full colour image on a 1440×1080 OLED display.

Built for serious fieldwork, the Arc A613 PRO adds a built-in video recorder, six selectable colour palettes, and screen sharing through the Pixfra app, so a single spotted animal doesn't have to mean a single set of eyes on it.

A Wide Field of View, Built for Ecology Work

Where many thermal monoculars chase magnification at the expense of everything around the subject, the Arc A613 PRO keeps the same generous 32.3° (H) / 25.8° (V) field of view that made the original A613 a favourite among ecologists. For bat surveys, bird activity monitoring, and general wildlife and animal survey work, a wide field of view matters more than raw zoom — it's what lets you catch movement at the edge of frame and follow fast, unpredictable activity across an open area rather than losing it outside a narrow tunnel of view. The PRO carries this strength forward while adding genuinely improved thermal sensitivity and reach, so nothing about the upgrade compromises the wide-angle performance ecologists rely on. As with the rest of the Arc range, continuous video recording of up to 2 hours per clip is built in, making it easy to capture full survey sessions for later review.

The Pixfra Arc A613 PRO takes the compact, cost-effective formula of the original Arc A613 and sharpens its core performance. Thermal sensitivity is improved to <18mK NETD — a meaningful step up that keeps detail visible in cold, damp, or low-contrast conditions where a less sensitive sensor would start to struggle. Combined with the 700m detection range, this makes the A613 PRO equally at home with a professional ecologist logging bat activity along a transect, an estate manager keeping watch over boundaries and woodland, or a wildlife enthusiast tracking nocturnal visitors to the garden.

Two replaceable, rechargeable batteries give the Arc A613 PRO up to 6 hours of runtime each, so a long survey or an all-night observation session isn't cut short by a flat battery — swap in a spare and keep going.

The Arc A613 PRO connects to up to four smart devices at once through the free Pixfra app, letting the whole survey team see the same live thermal feed on their own phone or tablet from up to 20m away. An ergonomic bodyshell and sensibly laid-out controls keep the Arc A613 PRO easy to operate one-handed, even during long observation periods. At just 370g it won't weigh you down on a long survey walk, and it tucks easily into a pack or jacket pocket between uses.

The magnesium alloy casing shrugs off the everyday knocks of fieldwork, while an IP67 rating means a splash of rain or a dunk in a puddle won't put it out of action. It's rated to keep working in temperatures from –30°C to +55°C, so it's just as usable on a frosty winter survey as a summer evening out.
