Pulsar Helion XQ38F Thermal Imaging Monocular... Why go for it?

Helion XQ38F Thermal Spotter

There’s no doubt that thermal imaging has revolutionised hunting, just like the compact, powerful Night Master 800 revolutionised lamping. Whether you’re stalking deer through the day or searching for foxes and rabbits at night, the handheld thermal spotter has become essential kit – in fact, “a game changer” as many of our customers have put it.

The Helion is Pulsar’s latest range of thermal spotters and the most popular model sold by Night Master is the Helion XQ38F. So what makes this model so popular? Well, the price is pretty attractive at £2,250. Yes, it is £870 more than the Quantum Lite XQ30V, but the Helion gives you a lot more; more clarity, further range, longer runtime (with the lithium battery) and better functionality. Video recording is direct to the device and WiFi technology allows you to wirelessly connect to a phone or tablet screen via Pulsar’s own Stream Vision app. This is extremely useful if you want to mount the Helion to the roof of a truck and get a live video feed inside the truck for quickly scanning fields while driving.

So why go for the Helion XQ38F over other models?

Other Helion models are available but the XQ38F has a great combination of wide field-of-view and useful magnification, which starts at 3.1x and increases to 12.4x with very good clarity, which means you can see more of what’s out there without having to constantly scan left-to-right. Then there’s the price; at £2,250 it’s a very attractive package, especially when you consider we offer 0% finance, so you can spread the cost over sensible monthly payments. Applications can be made online and within minutes you will know if it was successful.

0% Finance available on the Pulsar Helion XQ38F

The main benefit of using a thermal spotter, like the XQ38F, is that you can see “something” is there at long distances and then make positive identification with either a night vision scope (such as the Pulsar N355) or with a lamp (such as the Night Master 800 IC).
